Oppose Climate Change Bill S. 2657!
The U.S. Senate is preparing a major energy bill, described as a “down payment” for more draconian climate change measures, that will pave the way for the radical “green” agenda, infringe on state sovereignty, and tie the U.S. further into international agreements.
In summary, the AEIA represents the Republican establishment’s capitulation on the issue of climate change. The GOP, which opposed Barack Obama’s environmentalist policies, now endorse many of those same policies and accept left-wing climate propaganda. Senator Manchin labeled the AEIA “a down payment on emissions-reducing technologies” against climate change.

Urge Representative Ratcliffe at (202) 225-6673 to oppose benchmarking and government price controls, and the compromises being debated this week. Ask them to call Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and say “no” to price controls. Even if you called your member of Congress last week, we need you to call them again this week. While a deal was not struck last week, there is continuing concern the talks last week could generate a backroom deal this week.

This 555-page bill would not spur American energy innovation. Rather, it would enrich a handful of politically well-connected businesses, picking winners and losers, while costing taxpayers and consumers alike

Local Call to Action Assistance
We all recognize how important it is that we vote in the 2020 elections. I am asking your help to make sure your neighbors, friends, family, as well as strangers also vote in the Primary and General 2020 elections. Saturday is National Voter Registration and Phone Banking Day. I received a call this morning from the Trump Dallas Field Director. He asked me to get some helpers together to help register people on Saturday. Can I count on you to help this Saturday? Another day may be possible. He will be sending me the Advantage Mobile election materials. In the meantime, please let me know what you are willing to do to help get people registered to vote. Call, email, or text me.
