Some more sad news!

Clyde Siebman was a friend to the Texoma Patriots. He supported the Tea Party movement since its inception in 2009. It is with regret that we report to you that Clyde unexpectedly passed away on March 4th.

Clyde was a prominent lawyer and a big influence in the Grayson County Republican Party, but his legacy goes far beyond our county. He served as the Republican County Chair for around 10 years. In this position, he supported conservative candidates and elected officials on all levels.

Recognized as one of the top lawyers in the State of Texas, he was a firm supporter of the rule of law. The Constitution of the United States was his guide. As the Tea Party was forming, we relied on Clyde’s legal advice. And every election when we trained and provided poll watchers, Clyde voluntarily was available to provide legal assistance to those poll watchers if needed.

We will miss him. Our love and support goes out to his family. A memorial service honoring Clyde will be held on Friday, April 9th, at 1 p.m. at the Kidd-Key Auditorium, 400 Elm Street, Sherman, TX. A reception will immediately follow.
