Come Honor DJ Daniel on Patriot Day

During the March 4, 2025, presidential address to the Joint Session of Congress, D.J. Daniel was presented with honorary Secret Service credentials by President Donald J Trump. Following this, DJ continued his advocacy, visiting the Secret Service training center and being sworn into numerous other agencies. Now, on September 11th, he is coming to Grayson County. He will be deputized as a Grayson County deputy sheriff and receive honors from Representative Shelley Luther, DA Kermit Hill, Mayor Shawn Teaman, and the Grayson County Judge Bruce Dawsey.

Rise and shine early and meet with us at 8 a.m. outside the Grayson County Courthouse, 100 W. Houston St, in Sherman. After the ceremony, we can meet informally in the Courthouse Assembly Room.
