Proposition 10 on the March 3, 2026, Texas Republican Party Primary Election ballot stated — Texas should prohibit Sharia Law.  It passed with roughly 95 per cent support statewide.

Our state lawmakers launched the Sharia Free Texas Caucus to counter the Islamization of Texas.  The caucus will focus on examining how Sharia law — an Islamic legal framework derived from the Quran — conflicts with American constitutional protections.  They will be meeting during the 90th Legislative Session starting January 2027. Caucus founding members include Representative  Alan Schoolcraft and our Representative, Shelley Luther.

Alan Schoolcraft is one of the cofounders of this caucus and he serves as the education chairman.  After serving a tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force, he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School in San Antonio.  Most of his life was spent building successful software development companies.  For most of his legislative career he has focused on public education.  However, last year he shifted his focus to understanding Islam and the threat that Islamism poses to our country.

Eddie Isa grew up as a Christian in Iran.  He explains how he was treated as a second-class citizen facing the daily realities of Sharia law.  At nine years of age he escaped Iran, seeking asylum, and he carried the scars of that system with him.  He came to America and is now vocally explaining what he sees happening — Texas is slowly adopting the same failed policies and cultural decay he escaped.  He’s committed to warning us before it is too late.
