May 1 - Local Election Day - Go VOTE!

Today is the last day to vote in your local elections. Not every locale is holding elections because citizens have not stepped up to the plate to run for office.

Local elections include candidates running for city council, school board, bond issues, and propositions. Often times voter turnout is low for these elections. Do your part and go to the polls TODAY!

Here you will find sample ballots for your precinct. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Be an activist and show up at the voting location with flags and signs. Draw attention to others that voting is going on today and encourage them to vote. This is what makes America great. Election Integrity is a critical issues in the 87th Legislative Session going on right now in Austin. Do your part. Participate!
