MARK GOLOBY JAMES MATLOCK

Join us at Grandy’s, 3201 Texoma Parkway, Sherman, on Monday, November 10th.  Come hungry and order dinner! We are meeting in the side room at 7 p.m

The two candidates you will meet are:

MARK GOLOBY - running for Texas Governor

JAMES MATLOCK - running for Railroad Commissioner

The Governor of Texas is the head of the state’s executive branch and is responsible for enforcing state laws, overseeing state agencies, and managing the state budget.  As of now, Greg Abbott has been serving as the Governor since January 20, 2015.

Mark is a champion of property rights and advocates for more eco-friendly use of property. He founded TC Technologies pioneering wireless remote monitoring, and he has been Chairman of the East Texas Energy Symposium for 11 years.

The Railroad Commissioner in Texas oversees the regulation of the oil and gas industry, pipeline safety, and surface coal and uranium mining. Despite its name, the commission no longer regulates railroads, as that responsibility was transferred to another agency in 2005.

James is not a politician but has 18 years experience in oil and gas.  He is very concerned about infrastructure vulnerability, China, Blackrock, oil, gas, coal, pipelines, water quality, waste mismanagement, and orphan wells.  He has solutions with new technology.

The Primary Election is March 3, 2026.  The purpose of a primary election is to determine which candidates will represent a political party in an upcoming general election. It allows us, as party members, to select our preferred nominee for office.  THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND EACH OF US SHOULD CAREFULLY SELECT AND VOTE FOR OUR PREFERRED CANDIDATE. The General Election is November 3, 2026.

Come to our meeting!  It’s your chance to speak about your concerns and ask questions.

The Texoma Patriots is a TEA Party organization established in 2009. Everyone is welcome!
