Our next Texoma Patriots meeting is Monday, July 14. Meet us at Grandy’s in Sheman,
3201 Texoma Parkway, at 7 p.m. We invite you to come earlier and order Grandy’s
southern cuisine (or their cinnamon rolls) and join us in the meeting room.
Our topic is the J6ers - what’s next for them - and our keynote speaker is Stewart
Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers.
As we know, President Trump kept his campaign promise and issued full, complete, and
unconditional pardons for some 1,500 J6ers. He also gave commutations for 14 people
including our speaker Stewart Rhodes who had been sentenced to spend 18 years in prison after a judge said he presented “an ongoing threat and peril to this country … and to the very fabric of our democracy.” (https://www.npr.org)
Some of you may recall that our August 2022 event featured The Attack on Our Constitutional Freedoms. The meeting centered around finding the Truth About January 6, 2021. The event was a quest for Truth!
Monday’s meeting will deal with what is being uncovered by Trump’s Justice Department. It recently “abruptly fired at least three prosecutors who persecuted January 6 defendants” according to the Associated Press (@AP) June 28, 2025. They include Kathryn Rakoczy who was a lead prosecutor in the cases of Rhodes and more than a dozen of his allies as reported by Politico.
While they are released from prison, many of the J6ers face issues such as homelessness.
Others cannot get a job because they spent time in jail. And some are struggling to return to
some semblance of a normal life. Unfortunately, some even committed suicide. Those who
received commutations cannot vote nor own a firearm. These men and women come from all
walks of life — law enforcement, veterans, white-collar professionals, blue-collar workers, small business owners, and all races and religions.
So what is next for the J6ers? How do they rebuild their lives?
We can help by letting them know that they are not forgotten. The J6ers are our neighbors —
our sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers. They need our support to
reconnect with their families and to regain their footing in the community. We can help them
rebuild their lives. Can you donate to them or hire a J6er? Do you have a vehicle to donate or
can you help them with their monthly expenses? Are you a professional who is willing to offer your services free of charge? There are many ways to help and several reliable organizations who can help you connect with them. Ask us and we can recommend some organizations.
Mark Wednesday, August 27, on your calendar. Do you remember Curtis Bowers who
produced the movies Agenda: Grinding America Down and Agenda 2 - Masters of Deceit? We have booked him to talk to our group. As soon as we have a venue, we will let you know.
