What is a Veteran's Wreath?

Please help us Remember, Honor, and Teach on December 18th.

At 11 a.m. at cemeteries across the United States, volunteers will be laying wreaths on the graves of veterans.

The purpose is to Remember the Fallen . .

Honor those who Serve . . .

Teach our children the value of Freedom.

Wreaths Across America will be at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery and many local cemeteries to place wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. As the wreath is laid, the name of each and every veteran is said aloud.

Go to wreathsacrossamerica.org for information on locations where you can volunteer. It is not too late to go to the website and purchase a wreath for $15 to be delivered to cemeteries.

The organization is taking the opportunity this year to Teach about the men and women who served during the Vietnam War. The theme for 2021 challenges us to 'Live up to their Legacy.' It is also focusing on integrity, patriotism, courage, and sacrifice. The personal stories of those who served are the cornerstone to build a love of country and an appreciation for the cost of freedom for generations to come. Take this opportunity to remember our heroes.
