There is a trigger reaction - U S Representative John Ratcliffe of District 4 was nominated by President Trump and confirmed by Congress as the Director of National Intelligence. When his seat became vacant, Pat Fallon, Texas State Senator, District 30, was selected by the District 30 precinct chairs to replace Ratcliffe on the November 3 ballot.
